Jimmy Clewes now lives in Las Vegas, NV, after growing up in Great Britain. He has given turning demos and classes all over the world. His turning skills and engaging demos keep him in high demand in the U.S. and abroad.
 
 
 
NICK COOK

Nick Cook, Marietta, GA, turns a variety of work including one-of-a-kind bowls and vessels along with his unique gift items. He teaches at his studio, at universities and craft schools throughout the US, Australia, and New Zealand. A founder and long serving Board member of the AAW, Nick has been featured in many galleries and exhibits. He has also authored many woodturning articles.
 
 
 
ASHLEY HARWOOD

Ashley Harwood, Charleston, SC, designs and crafts exquisitely turned, beautifully crafted bowls, as well as jewelry and ornaments made with sea urchins featuring delicate ebony spindles. She is in demand as a demonstrator both domestically and abroad. Her extensive education in the arts contributes to her many awards and exhibits.
 
 
 
AVELINO SAMUEL

Avelino Samuel, St. Johns, Virgin Islands, has been an industrial arts teacher, furniture maker and turner for over 20 years. His turnings have been described as “so polished, so perfect and so precise, it’s hard to imagine the process by which their beauty was revealed.” He is in wide demand by collectors and as a teacher.
 
 
 
 
KEITH GOTSCHALL

Keith Gotschall, Salida, CO, has been a featured demonstrator at the prestigious BYU Woodturning Symposium in Provo, Utah, and several AAW symposiums. Keith is known for his bowls, vessels, platters, stone sculpture and furniture. He  proudly considers himself as a craftsman as well as an artist.
 
 
 
CHRIS RAMSEY (SPECIAL DEMONSTRATIONS)

Chris Ramsey, Somerset KY, will demonstrate turning his signature cowboy hat on Friday evening. A special friend of our Guild, he has demonstrated at many past Symposiums and Guild meetings. Always a crowd favorite! Chris is in high demand as a teacher and demonstrator for his hats and elegant, thin walled natural edge pieces. His hats are widely collected by celebrities including President G. W. Bush and Ashley Judd.
